YOU make the difference in our Chapter’s success!

We are always looking for volunteers to participate in our chapter activities. If you are interested in joining the fun, contact bmorehokies@gmail.com for more information or simply come to one of our events or volunteer recruitment meetings.

Events we can use volunteer assistance:

Crab Feast:

1. Set up – show up 2 hours prior to the event, requirements: moving tables, decorating, putting food out
2. Cooking – 1 hour shifts on the grille cooking hamburger and hot dogs
3. Clean up – 1 hour breaking down set up

Game Watch Captains:

1. Meet and greet alumni at our game watch locations, 1.5 – 2 hour required
2. Answer questions about local chapter, tell Alumni about local chapter events, ask if they want to be on our e-mail distro list

Big Event

1. Be the point of contact for Big Event activity
2. Coordinate with activity venue, sign Alumni in at event, take pictures

Yield Event

1. Answer questions from perspective students about Virginia Tech, 1-1.5 hours
